Weekday Presenters

Billy has spent nearly 30 years in local and national radio and has become one of the country's most popular and entertaining presenters. During a very successful TV career, he presented several hit TV shows including BBC1's trivia programme 'FAX' and the magazine programme 'What the Butler Sees'.

The afternoon show includes music from across the board, featuring not just well known artists but local talent too. There are also regular phone-ins, guests, competitions and comedy all presented in Billy's unique way. Billy's regular daily features are:-

Friday

The local entertainment scene across the pubs and clubs of Merseyside plus up and coming local talent. Lyn Staunton and Bobby Sox review the weekend's cabaret delights, the movers, and hippy hippy shakers on Merseyside.

Saturday

They're Off! Billy presents music, guests and more laughs with the Saturday morning racing game.

When Billy's not entertaining thousands of listeners, you're likely to see him at your local car boot sale. He's an avid collector of records, comics, sheet music, TV and Radio Times magazines and old TV show videos. His other great passion is Everton Football Club, but always "football fan first, Evertonian second."

His original, and energetic style has earned him countless fans and awards. Most notably Billy has been the winner of five Scouseology awards and his popular radio quiz show 'Hold Your Plums' was a Sony Bronze award winner.

Every weekday afternoon The Billy Butler show offers a lot of laughs, great music and entertainment.
