This game could have proved very difficult for Springwood due to Dingle Mill Street being new to the league. Springwood had gone into the game winning their last 5 scoring 17 goals and conceeding none. The game started a very close affair with lots of end to end action. The first goal of the game came from Jake M with a scrabbled effort inside Dingle Mill Streets box. This goal ended up being the only goal of the first half. The second half started with Springwood making a couple of changes, bring Callum H and Liam C on. This made a big difference!. In the second half Springwood scored 9 goals from the following players Daniel R (2), Callum H (2) Liam C (2) Chris M (2) and a great free kick from Mike S(1). Overall a very pleasing performance from Springwood with each and every player giving 110%, making it a great team performance. To give credit to Dingle Mill Street this was only their second game in this league and they showed definate potential.
