On the BBC Bus, I had the privilege to help recall and record some memories. Now you’re invited to share a part of their history. Pete JefferyKnown as 'Gerbs' (apparently his RAF colleagues thought he resembled a gerbil), Pete is still involved with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight – a labour of love with plenty of laughs along the way. Help playing audio/video David WindebankDave has enjoyed life in the RAF and, although a southerner, he has no intention of ever leaving 'Big Sky' county. Birds still don't mix with this guy! Help playing audio/video Gordon FaulknerLife at RAF Hemswell was hard work but great fun. Gordon met some rather special ladies whilst in uniform. Help playing audio/video Betty PantonBetty still has vivid memories of WW2, especially a secret route across an airfield! Help playing audio/video John RandallNational Service is a highlight in John's life. Moving bombs around was all part of his daily routine! And there was always a night out in Blackpool to look forward to! Help playing audio/video Pete Jeffery
