I heard that Keith wanted to come and manage at Rotherham United! What a joke! The man can't even get Lincoln out of league 2 so i doubt he will be able to get Rothehram back into the Championship? What is the hype about the man big deal you got into the play-offs three years in a rown, but hey you couldn't win any if them could you! get over it imps!

This episode has been dealt with in a most unprofessional and disgraceful manner by the board of lincoln city f.c.they have made themselves look fools the club the subject of ridicule and have treated keith alexander disgracefully.

Alan Andrews
Will Stiff Wright come clean and tell us what has happened? We do not live in a secret sociey. If not HE should be OUT.

German-Imp
Shambolic!!!! Supporter since 1975 but no more. Which directors wanted Keith to stay and who wanted him to go and if nobody wanted him to go why on earth was he placed on leave.

Luke Frith
Keith is ashocking manager and should have been booted out a long time ago.He is the worst manager i have ever known down to the conference we go with players like Nat brown SHOCKING.boooooooooooo

beckie
i think keith should stay. he has got us into the playoff places three seasons running and is a great manager

Jon
This issue has been managed incompetently. Whatever peoples opinions on the performance of KA and GS, the board have a responsibilty to their employees - which they have neglected, and being a community club they have a duty to keep their supporters informed( admittedly not with any sensitive information). Instead the supporters have faced a wall of silence. This is an absolute PR disaster as I believe Ray Trew has openly stated. I note their has been no apology to supporters. This whole episode brings in to question the competency of the current board to provide continued governance.

Michael Foley
This is an absolute disgrace and has made Lincoln City the laughing stock of football. It is simply not good enough for the Board to turn round (or the Supporters Trust for that matter) and ask the fans to rally round to support the team when they have spent the last few days throwing the club into turmoil and when the fans still have not been told what happened or given the slightest explanation. I suspect this is still the beginning of the end of Keith Alexander's reign at Lincoln City and the Chairman who has presided over this sorry mess should now do the decent thing. Business as usual? You must be joking! Unless and until the fans are told exactly what this was all about, the Club no longer deserves our support or money.

Jimmyredimp
The whole episode is 'Unbelievable!' I guess the fans will not be told why Keith and Gary were put on 'gardening' leave which is disgusting considering we, the fans, saved the club and help to continue its existence. This episode has been farcical to say the least and I believe that every single member of the board should walk away with some shred of dignity. I hope that Keith and the team put this sorry and unexplainable mess behind them and secure a playoff place with a successful trip to Cardiff or Wembley in May.

dave white
i think leave the running of the club to the board becorse they will do the best for the club If they dont they be no club

Ben Scott
I think not turning up to support 'our' club is exactly the answer. The way we the fans-apparently the most important part of this 'community club'-have been treated is a disgrace. As for Keith and Simmo, I will be gutted to see them go, they have done so much for this club. The board should have backed them with all this profit we have made thanks to Keith's achievements over the last 3 seasons. By boycotting the next game we can show the board what we think and that our views should be considered. After all, this is OUR club.

Demo Cratic
The Board has its reasons for making this decision. The public are not there and will never know the true story, however, resigning because you don't agree with the way the vote went shows no democratic understanding and if that is the case its just as well TREW walked!!

James
I hope all this will have a good ending!

Er from Olbeach
I hope that the Dennis Wise rumour is totally inaccurate. People will remember when David Herd was appointed manager - it turned out to be a complete fiasco and we can't afford to face a similar situation. The Board have been totally unfair to the red and white striped throughout, die in the wool City fan. After all the emphasis which was placed upon it being a Community Club - they have failed miserably. I feel truly sorry for Keith and Gary after all they have been through - and we with them at the time of Keith's illness. We will always appreciate 100%his efforts and wish him all the best for his future career. It must be horrible to work in a situation where not everyone is behind you and I feel truly sorry for them both. Thank you Keith for all of the excitement you have brought to us in the last three years - it has been great to be able to hold one's head up high as an Imps supporter.

Emily
Im not sure that not turning up to support your club is the answer as one comment suggests. Surely if your a true fan you would turn up to a match no matter what. Imagine how the poor players would feel if no fans were there at all, get behind your club and players and support them all the way. I know I will !!!!

Alex ( age 12 )
It would be a great shame to see Keith and Gary leave our club. I find it hard to comment on it anymore because we dont really know what is going on behind the scenes. We might all be wrong and everything will be ok.

Daniel Grundy (Age 11)
If Keith and his assistant go alot of supporters will go. Where was Lincoln before Keith came along. I go to The Football In The Community for kids who is there giving us support and encouraging us Keith not any board member. I come from Doncaster to support and train with the football in community for kids why because Keith and his team have worked wonders for Lincoln. Please Keith dont go there wont be a Lincoln City without you

Dale
THIS IS SHOCKING

BRIAN
It is a disgrace The only people who should be leaving are these jokers on the board. Mr Wright& co should resign and not show there faces again at the ground. they are a joke & a disgrace , we do not want jokes like them at sincil bank

Amanda
To a degree as a club they should have given fans perhaps a bit more info on the situation at the bank. But alas if tesco's board or any other major supermarket made a similar descision would we want to know the ins and outs. It wouldnt stop us from shopping there. So come on fans support your club whatever the situation one or two men dont make a club !!!

lyndon lewis
just been told that keith alexander and his assisant gary simpson are both at millmoor this morning .

David Clarke
I think that if the board are treating Keith like this solely due to the teams performance this season, I think it is an absolute disgrace and it worries me to think that our chairman literally know nothing about football, and what timing, at the start of the transfer window, where Keith can strengthen his squad and move up the table.

andy
i think the board have stabed keith in the back bring keith back befor saturdays game

Sid
Keep Keith, Sack the Board!

T Citroen
have been an imps fan for more years than I care to mention, even moved up to Lincolnshire from Middlesex to support them. I am shocked to the core at this turn of events, somebody rich, please buy the club and inject some sanity into it.

Pauline
I can't believe what they are doing to Keith - do they obviously have short memories and forget what success Keith has brought to the club.

Angela Scott
The board are an absolute disgrace. No regard for Keith, the players or the fans.'Team Lincoln'!That is a joke! When are they going to consider what is really good for the club!It was a very sad day when Rob Bradley handed over to the people who are only intrested in themselves and not the club.

Johnathan and Matthew Stephenson
He is a good manager we want to keep him. BY JOHN AND MATT>

Nick
Its time we looked at the board. Who own Lincoln City......

Allen Walker
If Keith & Gary have been suspended because of results it's a total disgrace - but if they have done something against the rules, then that's a different matter, and we shouldn't comment until we know the facts. Therein is the real sad thing about all this - the club, OUR club, has told us nothing. I appreciate that maybe they can't give us much information for legal reasons or whatever, but if that's the case, THEY SHOULD TELL US!

craig lewis
hi im a rotherham united supporter and i can tell you that the both of the are to jion rotherham as manager and assisant manager

Boston Fan
Can't believe that Lincoln could do what they have done to a manager as successful as Keith Alexander. Can we please swap managers, I think that we would get the best deal!

AWT
Keith has brought the most sustained success to the club for many years and is in the middle of reshaping the side, and the way they play. The board must take this in to account if the reasons behind the current situation are purely based on current performances, particularly when only 4 points of the play off places and at such a crucial period when players can be brought in to strengthen the squad. If however there has been a breach of discipline then it needs to be resolved quickly. The paying public need to be kept informed as do the playing staff as I understand that they are not fully aware of what is going on. The Board need to get it right for players, fans, and the club as a whole.

fatkid
keith & simmo in board out. i will not be going to another home match until keith & simmo are reinstated.

Ricky Fox
Im Sorry to say this but I think we should get rid of the chairman we have now. Because when we had Rob Bradley we were in the play-off 3 times in a row. Can you please ask all Lincoln supporters to show their support to Keith Alexander and not go to the next home game against Barnet and show the Chairman Steff Wright what a great manager Keith Alexander is and how many fans love him to bits 4 what he has done 4 The Club ---(Keith Keith Barmy Army)Well cheerz bi

STUART BLADES
GET HIM BACK TO WORK ASAP THE BEST MAN FOR LINCOLN F C

jayne lincoln
its an utter disgrace there is no news coming out of sincil bank let the people who ultimately pay the wages know what happening

Laurence Creasey
Unless the Manager broke Club rules in any form the way he was banned from the Club was totally wrong. It is not good management to take such action in the middle of a big programme of matches which the team was involved in and especially on the morning of a match.

kim taylor
total madness , best man we have had at the bank for years , the board need to give there heads a shake .

Kettrin Imp
Shocking. This is no way to treat a Lincoln hero. The board should let Keith and Simmo back and make a public apology.

becci
It's disgrasful the way theur treating keith

matthew
hes a very good manager but he has just lot the plot
