Unexplained Lincolnshire

At Coleby Grange such a phantom exists. He is usually seen on the top floor gazing mournfully across the overgrown runway. One may also experience the drone of long gone bombers. A living monument still alive with memories?

Phil Pocknee- The stairs with pain.

Other Ghost stories include a phantom who looks out of the window, footsteps heard on the top corridor and stones that have been thrown at people when looking in from the outside.

People have felt head-pains near the stairs area and voices have been heard. Many people have heard bangs, and unusual noises.

Not so scary during the day!

The Investigation

The Control Tower is the only building still standing and it has turned derelict, so we knew that this was going to be a very long and cold night. It was the first derelict location for the Believe Team, so we were very apprehensive in what was going to happen.

So the Control Tower began to get very dark, and started to get very eerie. Some of us began to get very nervous.

What Was Said On The Night!

Mule - "This has to be one of the scariest places I've ever been to with 'The Believe Team'. You know it's derelict, it doesn't feel comfortable, so I got a feeling that this is going to be one scary evening."

Phil - "Earlier today I was feeling OK, but now I'm actually really excited"

Chris Thomas - "Basically now, I'm actually really freaked out, because earlier me, Lester and Seki heard some thuds, and at the moment we can't explain them, but apart from that I can't wait, and hopefully something will happen".

Investigation Timeline

9.30 PM - Chris, George, Phil hear a crack against a wall.

9.48 PM - Phil felt as if something was behind him, and also heard a rustling sound.

10.01 PM Three members saw a big light.

10.36 PM - Seki thought he heard a brick moving.

10.45 PM - Something was thrown at Chris, George and Nick, and was caught on camera. It looked like a rock was aimed at us.

11.45 PM - Chris and Phil do double vigil upstairs. Chris first hears something hit a wall. 30 seconds later Chris and Phil hear what sounded like something hitting the floor with force. Both noises caught on Camera.

11.55 PM - Other members join Chris and Phil. While going upstairs, Lester feels something touch his leg, and Mule and Nick see a Red light at the same time.

Cameraman - Seki Dave

12.45 AM - Chris, Phil, and Dave are upstairs when all of a sudden a huge bang comes out from nowhere, which till this day is unexplainable.

Pictures taken from the investigation

We first of all split into groups, but then Lester suddenly stopped us and said that he had something weird on his digital camera.

This Picture is very unusual, since we caught some mist on his camera, but if you look carefully you can see, that there are also some orbs in the picture as well.

The person who is sitting down is Seki, but at that exact same time Nick and Chris heard a strange noise coming from the other room next to it. Is this paranormal or is it just a coincidence? You decide.

Opinions of Picture

Chris Thomas (Believer) - "I think this picture is fascinating, because we have never got anything like this before. I've only seen it on other paranormal groups' sites. It is known as Ectoplasm Mist. We are sure that this is something."

George Hallows (Parapsychologist) - "The first thing that came into my head was that it could have been someone breathing next to the camera when the picture was taken. But we have to rule that out because during the investigation we did test, what would come up when we did breath when taking a photo, and nothing was there at all. It also could be maybe someone moving on the rubble on the floor, which creates a dust affect, but I must admit, if you look at the picture it doesn't look like that at all."

Phil Pocknee - "From a quick study of the nature of the mist I find it hard for it to be any kind of breathing. The strange swirling pattern seems to make that idea unlikely. I don't like to jump to the conclusion that this some kind of effect of something paranormal but I do personally believe this is related to something ghostly."

Weird things caught on camera

This photo was taken when Rob thought he got touched near the stairs area.

George was next to him when this happened, and he told Chris Thomas that he thought he saw a red light when this happened. This shot was taken after it.

As you can see there is a small red light in the corridor. The Believe Team have never seen anything like this before. Was Mule witnessing a red light at the same time a coincidence?

Opinions Of This Picture

Chris Thomas (Believer) - "This picture is very exciting, because I remember myself seeing the entire group scream into the room, and George saying that he saw a red light. That was told to me before the picture was taken. Then actually seeing Rob take a picture after it, and seeing a red light (orb), is very exciting. The phenomena links very well."

George Hallows - (Parapsychologist) - "This is a very interesting one because I actually witnessed this light myself. And seeing Lester take a photo with a red orb is truly fascinating. You could put it down to be a bug of a moth, but this investigation took place during the middle of winter, so there are not many moths or bugs around."

This picture shows the basic orbs, which people get in haunted Locations.

Anything here?

As you can see there is a rather big orb near the top of the ceiling.

These Paranormal lights are known as orbs, and they are meant to be one of the first stages of a ghost manifestation. They are normally caught in supposedly haunted Locations. What do you think?

Opinions Of This Picture

Chris Thomas (Believer) - "These types of orbs I'm not so sure on, since sometimes I have taken photos in my house and have got orbs in my house. In this case I think it is very weird since we have never got an orb like this on a digital camera before. We've got them camcorders but not on digital, which makes me very apprehensive about these certain types of orbs."

George Hallows (Parapsychologist) - "This orb is very large, but unfortunately it could be just down to dust. The orb is in a very weird place (near the ceiling), so I personally think it is dust. There are also other smaller orbs near it, which makes me think even more that it is only dust particles, but I might be wrong."

This Picture was actually taken by our Parapsychologist, George Hallows, and at the time that it was taken, a number of the crew actually heard some strange noises.

Opinion of Picture

Chris Thomas (Believer) - "This is orb is awesome because it's just one light on its own, and there are no other lights except this one, which I think counts as a spirit light."

Look in the top right hand corner...

George Hallows (Parapsychologist) - "I think this orb is one of the better ones. There is only one light anomaly so like Chris said, it can't really count as dust that much, because with dust there is normally other light with it."

Phil Pocknee - "This picture is nothing but fascinating. I am really excited about this picture; this really fills me with hope. I did have doubts about orbs and of the lights picked up in the past but this one ball does seem to look good. I believe that chances of this being connected with something paranormal are huge. But judge for yourselves."

Conclusion

Overall as The Believe Team we thought the investigation went well and deserves another investigation in the future.
