Salado Sheik-Mohammed is from Somalia and first came to the Northfields estate in Leicester with her three daughters in September 2001
Although at first she found it difficult to speak English, she's really finding her feet now. Not only that, but she's helping other Somalia women to adjust to life here and has set up the Hodan Somali Community group.
She's found that although people don't always understand why she's here, they go out of their way to be friendly to her
