When the civil war kicked off in Somalia in the early 90's - Mohad Tarrah left his parents, his country and everything he knew to come to the UK and save himself.
He says initially he had no sense of belonging and felt disorientated by his dramatically different life.
Times have changed for Mohad though and gradually he's started to feel as though he fits in. So now he's helping some of the other 10,000 plus Somalis in Leicester feel the same way...
It's less about finding roots and more about setting down roots...
