Roi Kwebena: Afrikan Storyteller, Drummer and Poet Laureate of Birmingham 2001-2002. Lisa Jackson: Nottingham-based storyteller performing her hilarious self composed 'Enus Tales'..."He's a..." "Him wutless but me luv him" , kinda Caribbean Character. Kwaku Ampomah: This is a rare opportunity to languish in the dulcet tones of this magical storyteller's Tale of Mystical Afrikan Nights.
And this month's guest musician is Tina Tamsho-Thomas, a Manchester-based singer, actress and playwrite. Doors Open 7:30 for an 8pm start on Sunday 25th April 2004. Noiz in Zion happens on the last Sunday of every month at Original 4 on King Street, Leicester. It always kicks off at 19.30BST and usually features three invited poets, an open mic for budding poets who want to have a go, and live music.
