Get ready to see old Midland Red and Leicester City Transport buses weaving through the traffic on Gallowtree Gate - yes Gallowtree Gate. | | River Soar 1971 |
These show Leicester as a busy, colourful, vibrant and energetic city - just as it is now. It's your chance to spot the shops that have moved or closed and look at a busy industrial scene at the British United Shoe Machinery Company in the Belgrave area of the city.
