Tamil, Gujarati, Shona, Croatian and Polish are just some of the 35 languages spoken throughout Leicester

One hundred students from five schools wrote poems on the theme of sound. Representatives from De Montfort University, Phoenix Arts and BBC Leicester have documented the results.

The recordings have been made into a sound installation by members of the Music, Technology and Innovation Research Group at De Montfort University.

The installation goes on show at the Phoenix Arts Centre on Thursday 01 April until Sunday 04 April.
