FACTS

Less than 1% out of the hundreds of millions of people who begin a nutritional and exercise program to attain weight loss or burn fat tissue ever achieve their goals

The benefits of a healthy diet begin in childhood, and can do much to reduce the risk of premature death or disability later in life. However, taking steps to improve diet at any time can make significant changes to your long-term health

Thursday 04 March 2004

Hi everyone, first of all I must say a big sorry for not writing my weekly update. Life has been very manic for me over the past few weeks, what with a variety of family crisis and work commitments. To be honest, I am feeling completely shattered and could really do with a holiday right now.

So back to my diet and exercise regime. You will be pleased to know I am still eating healthy and exercising, although I have not walked as much as I had planned during the past few weeks basically due to lack of time.

Hubby weighed me yesterday and I have gained two pounds taking me back to 13 stone 9. So my mission for the week ahead is to get back on track with my walking.

It's amazing how other events in our lives take over and stop us from basically looking after ourselves. Some people say when they are stressed and tired they lose weight, well that does not happen with me, quite the reverse actually. I seem to gain more when things are going wrong.

I am really looking forward to the weekend. I am going to get my haircut and treat myself to some new make up. I also plan to spend lots of time with hubby and relax.

Once again, I am so sorry for not writing my entry, hopefully things will return to normal now to allow me the time to concentrate on losing weight. I promise that I am still trying and do want to succeed.

Have a great weekend fellow dieters.

Rebecca Jones
