Leicester head coach Pat Howard is backing his squad's strength in depth to keep the Tigers in touch with the Premiership pacesetters while players are lost to the autumn internationals.

Listen to our post-match interview with James Hamilton and more here...

The Tigers were without seven internationals for the visit of bottom club Worcester Warriors but made light of it as they ran in six tries to win 40-21 and stretch their unbeaten home record in the competition to 29 games.

"We keep talking about the depth of this club and this is the time of the season that shows it."
Pat Howard, Leicester Tigers Head Coach

Leicester struggled during the same spell last season but Howard insists they are better placed to cope this season.

"We keep talking about the depth of this club and this is the time of the season that shows it." said Howard.

"Leo Cullen has stepped into the captain's role and dealt with it well and other players have stood up to be counted."
