The singer revealed his plans during an exclusive chat with BBC Radio Leicester presenters Tony Wadsworth and Julie Mayer. The couple broadcast a special show from the Great Glen home of Engelbert and his wife of more than 40 years, Pat. The 69-year-old singer, who has sold about 150 million records, says he is starting to wind down his career. Engelbert said: "I do 140 concerts around the world each year so I lead quite a hectic life. "So in 2006 I am only doing 70 gigs, and the year after that about 50. "I don't think I can totally give up because show business is in my blood".
