Jamie hopes to join the F1 scene.

Jamie eyes F1

Hinckley racing driver Jamie Green is in discussions with Formula One teams on becoming an F1 test driver nest season.


As the fight to keep the British Grand Prix at Silverstone continues a racing driver from Leicestershire is looking to join the ranks of the Formula 1 world by becoming a test driver in 2005.

Hinckley's Jamie Green recently won the Formula 3 Euro Series by a country mile and he told BBC Leicester, it's a matter now of capitalising on what was a great summer this year.

Jamie is in talks with two Formula One teams about joining them as a test driver for the 2005 season. He hopes it will all be ironed out before Christmas as he need to prepare for the next year of his career.
