"We have consulted extensively with the public and feel we now have a plan which builds on Leicesters current assets and identifies bold but deliverable key projects, to make a significant change to the life of the city."
The consultation period gathered views on the preliminary plans for people in Leicester by holding exhibitions such as the one in the Shires shopping centre.
Following the release of the plans, more detailed designs will be drawn up, giving the public a clearer idea of the proposals.
The final aspect of the project will set deadlines and a delivery plan for the five sectors of the regeneration.
