"It (Brooklands) was built way back in 1907, I probably went there in 1925 first time. I saw all the famous drivers of the time and the cars. Very exciting they had some good races there everything from short 5 lap races right up to double 12 were cars would run for 12 hours then they'd be impounded for the night and then start off at 8 o'clock next day for another 12 hours. I drove in one of those races, not my car, but a friend's car, very similar to the car I had, and that was a good experience."
