Calling All Cars

Marie Curie Cancer Care are looking for volunteer drivers to help collect the charity's daffodil boxes from shops, offices, and cafés to help them with their biggest ever Great Daffodil Appeal.

Can you spare us a few hours to help pick up the boxes? How much time you can give is up to you, and you'll even get paid your out-of-pocket expenses.

Marie Curie Cancer Care want 2007 to be their most successful year for the Great Daffodil Appeal, and with more people like you, they can make this happen!

Every year, people across West Yorkshire help the charity raise money for essential funds which helps them provide nursing care for terminally ill people living with cancer, which gives them the choice to die at home supported by their family.

Local fundraiser, Philippa Ladds said:
"By getting people to support us in this way we can provide more nursing care in West Yorkshire. And every £20 raised will provide an hour’s care, making it possible for Marie Curie Nurses to carry on making a difference to local families coping with cancer."
