Junior Football match reports

Bramley Phoenix 4 - 0 Glen Juniors

Report sent in by Darren Wood
Garforth League, Under 11s, Division 3. Sunday 12 November 2006.

Bramley went into this game full of confidence after last weeks win. They soon started passing the ball and dominated the game from the first whistle.

Their early pressure eventually paid off when Joe Q put the home team in front with a well taken goal. Bramley continued to dominate and doubled their lead on the stroke of half time when Sam E cut in from the right and coolly planted his shot into the bottom left-hand corner.

In the second half Bramley upped the pace and played some attractive football, their build up play was a delight to watch. Dean J tested the Glen goalkeeper with a rising 20 yard shot - the goalie did well to keep it out. Danny G put the game beyond doubt when he sidefooted home a rebound from another Joe Q strike.

In the closing minutes Tom J's perseverance paid off when he calmly placed his shot underneath the advancing Glen goalkeeper to make it a resounding four-nil win for the lads in orange.

Man of the match: Callum T
