Report sent in by Darren Wood Garforth League, Under 11s, Division 3. Sunday 5 November 2006.
Both teams went into this fixture looking for their first win of the season. Bramley took the game to Leeds Colts and should have capitalised on early pressure but wasted two good goal-scoring chances.
In the second half Bramley were permanently camped in the Leeds Colts half and played some attractive football but were unable to find the back of the net – hitting the post on three occasions. Eventually their dogged pressure paid off when Liam coolly slotted home from eight yards.
Adam, on his debut for Bramley, caused the Leeds Colts defence plenty of problems and earned Bramley a penalty when he was upended in the box – Reece calmly converted the spot kick.
Bramley never looked in danger and were worthy winners in the end.
