Pudsey battled for a determined point at division 4 table toppers Abbey on Sunday and had a fantastic display from keeper Brad and a solid defence to thank for a share of the spoils.
Pudsey's chances in the match were few and far between, the best opening coming in the first half when Tom pounced on a loose ball in the Abbey box but his close range effort was blocked by the keeper and cleared.
Most of Pudsey's energy though was spent in keeping out a skillful and clever Abbey side with the back four having to be on their best form. Hassan and Liam both had excellent matches in the heart of defence and James Con and Jonathan were again hard working in Midfield.
Good left side midfield work from Carl and Sam could not dint a solid Abby defence though but overall Pudsey's work ethic was pleasing to see.
Once Abbey hit a post with minutes to go and another breathaking dive and tip over the bar from the excellent Pudsey stopper they knew it would not be their day.
Abbey would feel hard done by not to take all the points in their quest for the title but Pudsey's coaches and parents were heartened by a great team effort.
