Pudsey Juniors continued their improved form with an impressive win away at Yorkshire Amateurs. Pudsey adapted to the muddy conditions well with excellent one touch passing but were also prepared to roll up their sleeves and battle it out in midfield when needed. Pudsey were three up within 20 minutes when slide rule passes from midfield allowed in form strikers Matthew and Tom to beat the offiside trap and round the the keeper in one on ones and Matthew again coolly slotted one into the corner from the edge of the box. Ammas were not to be easily beaten though and put Pudsey under pressure but great defending from Hassan and the tigerish James Con in midfield kept the Ammas at bay until half time. A break away goal and brilliant finish high into the net brought Matthew a deserved hat-trick just after the break and effectively sealed the win for Pudsey. Liam was again outstanding in midfield and is forming a great partnership with James Con. Fullbacks James Cop and Hamza were assured and confident throughout the game . A great team performance was capped by a fourth from the prolific Matthew and a late consolation goal could not dampen the spirits of a jubilant Pudsey team. Man of the Match was James Con.
