Junior Football match reports

Brayton Juniors 3-3 Amaranth Juniors

By site user Adrian
Charles Rice League, U14s, Sunday 11 December 2005

A very sloppy start from the Ammas as they conceded three goals in the first 20 minutes. But you know the Ammas never say die attitude, this took them into a different game and they really piled on the pressure to take a point, which still leaves them in a strong position to do well in the league.

A rushed penalty would have put us in front in the first half, but the best was yet to come. Brayton are a good team with a lot of bigger players, but it was the little guys' day as Sam and Chris both scored with big Dave totting up another goal. Nathan was moved to the back, and denied Brayton of any further goals. Ashley picked up 3rds for a good job in midfield. "The Mighty" Sam got in the top 3 again with a well deserved 2nd.

You have the postponed cup match this Sunday against Altofts.

There is no more training in schools until the new year. No training Tuesday.
