I frequent this section often and saw the name of the band. Stumbled upon them playing a gig and wasn't impressed. All the songs sound the same. Plus the singer thinks hes the best singer in the world. Dissapointed.

The Singer has a very cute a*se but i wish he's stop recommending crap CD's to me (Which i stupidly buy!)and further more, i wish he'd post decent Cd's to me and not silly crazy frog things!! I've seen the Pigeon Detectives live. They blew the other bands away at both The Pack Horse near the Uni and The Cockpit. I found myself humming the tunes the day after like I'd known them forever. Matty Bowman is a pretty charismatic frontman with a forceful voice, Oliver is a very talented guitarist and Dave, Ry and Jimmy drive the music very well. The name comes from some drunken bloke who asked Matt if he was some sort of Pigeon Detective because he knew something about pigeons. Worth a look and ones of Leeds best unsigned bands.
