Instruction and tools are provided. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and interest. These activities are hands on practical sessions, so you will need to wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty!
Himalayan Balsam Pulling Sunday 3 July 2005 10:00am to 12:00pm Make a difference in the valley by pulling Balsam - stay for a picnic at the Barnacre Estate (Water Treatment Works) - Meet at Grizedale Lea guest car park at the entrance to the reservoirs off the Oakenclough Road. National Beachwatch Saturday 17 September 2005 10:00am to 12:00pm Help the Rangers undertake this national beach litter survey. Meet at the car park opposite the Sea Cadets, Fleetwood.
Tree Planting Saturday 3 December 2005 2:00pm to 3:30pm Help the rangers plant trees at the Wyre Estuary Country Park. Meet at the Visitors Centre at the entrance to the Park on River Road, Thornton.
