Fickle Mistress
Fickle Mistress
Fickle Mistress

Fickle Mistress from Poulton - they take their big riffs seriously and aren't over-impressed with Coldplay or Athlete.

Why not tell us all about your unsigned band?

Your band name?
Fickle Mistress

Where are you from?
Poulton

Who plays what?
Nick Broome - Sings
Tompin - Plays the geetar
Scott Davies - Plays bass
Luke Graham - Hits the drums

Anyone got any bad habits?
I'm sure we all do.

What's the band's history so far?
Formed atop a mountain, probably somewhere remote and far, far in the past, four people came together with the desire to play something other than boring, whiny, droning, middle class drivel like Coldplay, Athelete, Razorlight, The Killers etc...

Style and influences?
Metal, funk, rock and just a dash of epic lushness.

Best moment so far?
Playing the Royal Oak jam night last month, the applause was just deafening after every song of ours!

Worst/most embarrassing moment so far?
A gig at a birthday party in Thornton, the mic kept cutting out but we saved it with jamming.

Next gig?
Watch blackpoolbands.co.uk forum for announcements.

Anything else we should all know about?
If you're sick of the same old boring, droning music, we have the answer; big riffs and choruses, catchy melodies and fast guitar solos, it's like grunge never happened! We take our band very seriously and we are always very grateful for the support we get from the audiences we have played for! Peace.
