Nigel Harris in South Wales
I live in Barry, South Wales (home of Gavin and Stacey!), am 100% Welsh but stumbled across the pod by chance 3 months ago and been an avid listener since.I enjoy the banter and stories but does this make me the only listener to the pod with no connection whatsoever to Lancashire (other than numerous visits there following Cardiff City)??? Incidentally, linking that to one of Wednesday’s stories, Cardiff City’s goalkeeper when they famously took the F.A. Cup out of England in 1927 was Tom FARQUHARSON!Thanks for a daily dose of entertainment which I listen to driving to work in Newport.Best Wishes Nigel Harris

John Hitchon
Hi Tony, Alison & The Gang...Great Show as always.... I think that picture of Alison and er'..Jimmy Saville...or is it Dave Saville.....No it's the great Ted (Robbins) Saville of course......ow's about that then.....N'Joy sunny Blackpool on Friday.

John Hitchon
Hi Tony & Alison. I noticed on this morning's breakfast show that one of your listener's had mentioned the famous Soxon helping hand sock puller onner. I have sent you a couple of photos for you to add to your Breakfast Gallery (via Emma).....I can honestly say that it has been a big help to me in the past 5 years.....Great Show your the best team on radio

John in Poulton
Hi Tony and the Gang........Why don't we have a Breakfast Morning Show phone-in on guessing Mrs Livesey's Christian name

John in Poulton
Hi Tony,Alison & The Gang....You were sadly missed on this mornings breakfast show...I would have liked to see Alec continue his early show right through to 9am...It just didn't seem to be the funny & hilarious show we are used to waking up to......Hurry back Tony & Alison....And keep Lancashire smiling on what should be without a doubt an award winning Podcast Breakfast Show.

Allan
Milk pales into total insignifigance against raw fish pushed down the heater air intake below the windscreen.

Barry, Blackpool
Great tache, Alison. Stick on a bowler and brolly, and you'd pass for one of the Thompson Twins from Tintin.

Admirer
Looking for the first time at the photographs brought all your stories to life. I listen every morning whilst I journey from Preston to Morecambe. Keep up the good work. Alison you have been very quite this week, keep chirping in it good to hear you too.

John Hitchon
After listening to yesterday's show about all those school closures....It was a joke....If we keep getting what I call snow days every year it is going to become a national holiday in this country. I can't ever remember being kept away from school when it snowed the worlds going mad !!!!...They must laugh their socks off at us in Russia.

Jan Kellie
Hi Tony and Alison and teamListening to your programme this morning about first dances at weddings, my son got married last September. He and his new wife are semi professional musicians so they played and sang whilst everyone else had a first dance. Woody Woodpecker
OMG those are the most hideous posters I've ever seen - did I hear you say this morning that one had gone missing? Probably someone has put it on their mantlepiece to keep the kids away from the fire!

John hitchon

John Hitchon
Tony, Sorry if I sounded a bit nervy when I spoke to you on air this morning, but I was so taken back when I got this call on my mobile, and was so suprised when this voice said can you speak to Tony live on air, talking about the Ostrich story.I would just like to say Thankyou, to both yourself and Alison who really make a good start to everyone's day.Without a doubt you give us the best Breakfast Show in Lancashire.Keep up the good work.

Barry, Blackpool
I am a bit worried about the picture of Alison holding the testies. They look suspiciously like something my Missus gave me for tea the other night.

michael. nelson.
Tony was your 10 minute walk spot binned? We didn't see much of it,I know that it it is a bit since but surely we never saw all of them?.

Barry, Blackpool

Often sit in the car park at school to hear the end of a tale! Tony is a star! Very unassuming and lovely with all the older people who phone in. I'm on school hols now and still getting up early to listen!

Dodie Jones, Euxton.
Just have to say, hubby and I are doing our best to 'convert' folk to the best 'uplifting' experience in coming to terms with a new day!!My word , it has EVERYTHING to wake a poor person from slumber to having to get cracking and facing the day! Thanks so muchto Tony, Alison, Alec and Nish, from Two who for YEARS have listened to Terry!!!You are great. (PS. Alison, our son Jonathan was the DJ for your 40th. He thinks your'e hubby is a really good guy. Jon has suffered bad deppression recently.)Much Love, Dorothy and David, Euxton, Chorley.

BigPete
Don't know about anybody else, but I'm starting to love Alison's laugh, it's infectious. Are you ALWAYS so loud, lol?Seriously Alison, I'm sure your input is very under-rated and am also certain the show wouldn't run so smoothly without all the effort and research you all do. You make it so easy for Tony to wander into the studio at the last minute and pretend he's in full control and knows what he's doing. You're a great team and I'm not forgetting Alec and Nish either. You just know you're loved.

Chris Banks Leyland
Tony spend £2.99 on a jerky available from any good kitchen shop ,no more problems with opening jars.

'Liz Clitheroe
hi Tony just to say a big thankyou for going to Lancaster today to meet us listeners - you must have been absolutley shattered after the late night the night before but you didn't let us down and spent time speaking to everyone who was there. It was much appreciated and everyone had a great time. Keep up the good work Tony - the show is fabulous!

Lorraine Hanlon

jen from burnley
Hi tony and the team Youre ace i always have a smile when listning to you all my hou ouney o work is like minutes ish you was on at 5pm to 6 pm too

Irene from Southport
Tony, I was driving to work this morning, so couldn't ring you to comment on an an interview you were doing, talking about building more houses on greenbelt land. I have to disagree with you, we do need to keep some green and pleasant land, for one thing we need it to help ward of global warming, as gree plants put oxygen into the air for us all to breath. Also how are the water mains and sewers going to cope with all the extra useage.

John from Lancaster
Your introduction of "peg in a bottle". Try "Penny in a bottle". Gents roll trousers up. Ladies have the advantage in style. Hold penny between knees, walk or waddle forwards and drop it into milk bottle. Was a party game 30 years ago. Sad old days!

Pam & Gerry
Tony,we were so disappointed to have missed your trip down the coast,is that weekend you once talked about at Pontins a none starter? Great show i never though i could enjoy myself that much in bed.

Mike From Leyland
Thank you Thank you Thank you. I have trouble waking up in a morning and have found a cure thanks to you Livesey. Youre voice i use as an alarm cus its so annoying gets me out of bed as soon as i hear it.

Brenda
Love your new web page but the print is to small

Kevin Barrow
oh god theErics was so funny. But did you know thta the founder of the Erics Robert Watson is also a internationaly aclaimed author?? known as Robert J watson

Janet , blackpool
Alison ,i hope your not going to demonstrate that c string , i saw it in the sunday papers and it just looks tooooooooo painfull!

Hayley, Chorley
Since its contract renewal time here's a complimentary message: I think Tony and Alison provide a public service in the mornings, making drivers stuck on the region's motorways laugh. The consequences if we had to listen to the likes of Terry Christian instead don't bear considering. Where else would we hear someone in a Greek cupboard interviewing a woman in darwen about lingerie made from kitchen implements. Tony - you're a one off!

Martin Freye
OK! My Wife's been complaining for 45 years about the noise she alleges I make while alseep. Often she wakes me and I lie there listening carefully in the dark but I NEVER HEAR ANYTHING! She often says "Stop breathing". Is this a sign that I should get immediate police protection?

Diane Sutton
What's all this my colleague tells me about a 'Shepee'.=?!??! I'm intrigued from her description of it. What is it random, mass weeing in a giant bucket??? Any pictures would be appreciated...

UNCLE BRYAN
Having listened to your interview at Moor Park with Jordan and after educating him on decent music could I scam a ticket for the festival and re-educate my self on the dross.'Oldies' rock. Great show

rita from tod
a slogan for the breakfast show Start your day with a "cereal" thriller,Have tony livesey for breakfast. if you broadcast it, can it be after 8.30 please.

Mrs Sheila Livesey
Great viewing on a wet Sunday afternoon, would like to know why i got Tony,s kegs and not a costume

Craig, Paula & Gracie
Priceless uncle Roy! Just Priceless!

Bradley
He looks like one on of the seven dwarfs (sleepy). He is my grandad.

Stuart
Tony and team, thanks for a great show. The interview with Miss Blackburn was priceless, why not get her to present the news helped by other family members? The combination of her being not the sharpest pencil in the box as well as easily pursuaded meant compulsive listening. The way you handled her showed you have plenty of experience of getting the most out of ladies like her ( no offence Alison)

Roy Haythornthwaite
Ok Tony,I look a wreck but I'd just been climbing in Austria for ten days and socialising as well, then the awful coach trip, Yuk !!! I was on the Burnley MC annual holiday you should join our walking /climbing club lots of really nice folk apart from the guy who took the photo, like your show Tony Roy H

bezza - R awtenstall
Great show Tony, hearing you on the radio makes it worth getting up. Keep up the good work - You have the sexiest voice on radio

Barbara
Gorgeous. What a stunner

mel from blackburn

John from Hutton
I have a couple of spare socks could you push them in Alisons mouth when she does that laugh of hers, great show apart from the laugh (or is it disease?.

Geoff, from Church
I enjoy the breakfast programme - You and Alison are great. Yesterday's interview with the wire coathanger woman had me roaring with laughter! Anyone who can achieve that kind of result at that time in the morning deserves an award. I hope that the BBC do renew your contract - keep up the good work.

Angela Yates
TonyIliked the pink shirt you wore on NORTH WEST tonight but it clashed with the red background stick to white!

Sue from Leyland
As the only person in Lancashire brave (or is that daft?) enough to volunteer for the Calendar Girls style photo shoot, i think that should surely earn myself and my husband a couple og Golden Tickets. What do you say Tony? xx

marian penwortham
great show to wake up to keep up the good work I will have to get a radio in the bathroom so i dont miss anything

Joan - Skipton
Hi Tony I am from Oswaldtwistle but now live in Skipton - Robert from Blackburn was right about warm pork pies! Lovely! We have three butchers in Skipton all serving award winning Warm or Cold Pork Pies. Stanforths at Mill Bridge is the one Robert is referring to which is across from the canal. A guy bought one and went down to the canal to eat it - he held is head back to drink the gravy out of it and fell in the canal. I have a shop in Skipton and me an my staff have a Stanforths Warm Pork Pie every Saturday. So get yourselves round here and live a little.

Pat Preece, Lea, Preston
Tony i just want you to know you are the twin of one of the Take That Group!! the young one that stands on the end! i have seen them on tv a lot! and i have always thought that you are his double! accept he is a little bit younger than you! sorry! but true.

wendy burnley
brilliant as ever

Tony in Southport
Recent convert from Wogan about 6 weeks ago. A real tonic start to the day. Some very interesting topics. Really feel the programme is personal. Keep up the good work. Can't drive down Motorway without having this vision of Alison jumping over the hard shoulder fence to gain relief.

Marian

Oh yes Mrs Chris!! About the glittery ball pictures -Tony with the ultimate Christmas bauble, how festive would that be? Oh yes!

Chris, Ribchester
Great fun last 2 mornings - Alison sat on by nudie butlers & Xmas brass in Accrington. Saw the photos on the website --but Tony where are the pics you promised with your dance trophy??! The missus says she's waiting for the one of you kissing the disco ball to use as wallpaper on the computer.....

Joe Rowlands
I have just listened to Tony Livesey on radio Lancashire stating that he would keep excess change he was given in a shop or an ATM. I am appalled at his admission of dishonesty and feel that he should be censured by the BBC.

DAVE ASKEW AND PETER BROWN
We missed thursdays show and we e,mailed Tony and the team wed asking for a mention on the show,we Love the 2 hours from 7,the show is so different to other stations for them 2 hours, the team are so livlely for such a early time,me and peter work in the QC area at the reebok warehouse in morecambe and would love a mention, its also shift 1 christmas night out in Lancaster tonight friday and with tonys show and a good night out it should be a great day,And can you send Alison a xmas kiss from her fan!yes its me..haha..top show..Dave Askew and Peter Brown. Can you say a pray for us Manchester City fans who play utd sat,im going,we need a miracle.

john
Alison has to much to say interupts tony far to much, and that false laugh!!!!good show apart from that.

Andy from Burnley
Tony you have proved again you not only have the perfect face but also the perfect body for the..............radio

Barbara Foster - Ribble Valley
I have just been looking through your gallery of photos. Is this work ? Is this a real job? You all seem to be enjoying yourselves too much !! Do you need someone (i.e. me!) to join the team? Carry on the good work.

Steve Eastwood (Easty), Burnley
Tony, Don't take any notice of all the comments so far about your appearance and what you should or shouldn’t do, such as "comb your hair" and "wear a cravat" or "shave the beard". Do you know why? Because if you did (and you just left the tash on) then you would look a dead ringer for ‘Terry Thomas’, "I say, what an absolute shower!” “what an absolute rotter!”

Charlie
You are a very beautiful man indeed, I love your bear like qualities. you my man!

Andy
Your nipple needs a trim sir!

Jenny Page . Ramsbottom
I absolutely love your show. You are both so funny and natural...makes my day. All of my friends are now converted to Radio Lancashire...its a radio show for the people. Keep it up. PS I love Ted too...

LILLIAN
Thanks for the best show on Radio Lancashire

Bill
Thanks for making my horrendus drive to work so enjoyable this morning. I was caught in the traffic jam caused by the terrible accident on Blackpool Road at Lea. I was listening to you and Alison talking to the doctor about you throat shpincter and the resultant laughter it caused. I was looking at all the miserable faces in the traffic jam going the other way and thinking they wern't listening to your show. I was in tucks of laughter. People must wondered what I was on. Top show.Keep it up,

Lesley McGee (Thornton, Blackpool)
Me modelling your Cozzie Tony has certainly got YOU noticed, you have won a few more listeners this week. Missed you Weds/Thurs, the show is so dull without you, that it's sent Alison off sick..................You send us off to work with a smile........
