The focal point to this walk is Entwistle, but we began on the outskirts of Edgworth, walking along the old Roman Road which runs from Manchester to Ribchester. This is the scenic backdrop for the road, shown off best in the February sun.
Rita Heeney Dear Joe, Cant tell you how much I enjoy your walks-Entwistle in particular as I used to live in that idyllic cottage on Edge lane. The owners are wonderfull people, and hellped to create memories my grand children and I will never forget. We also lived on Great Stones Close, and West Walk in Egerton.
