Blackpool have failed to snap up John Mullin - who has opted for Tranmere instead. The former Burnley midfielder has signed a two year deal at Prenton Park.
Meanwhile, Blackpool's players return to training on Saturday and Michael Jackson who signed for the Seasiders last week from Tranmere says he's looking forward to partnering Peter Clarke next season.
Jackson said: "I played against him a few times. I've heard about him a lot - and the lads say he's probably one of the best players at the club. Hopefully we'll hit it off."
