The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh arrived in Blackburn on the Royal train, The Royal Messenger, where they were greeted by children from local schools before the Queen unveiled a plaque at the new £45m Mall shopping development in the town centre. Help playing audio/video This is the Queen's first visit since 1987 and hundreds of people lined Church Street in Blackburn for a glimpse of the Royal couple before they left to visit Whitewell.
