Level 2 - Tutor's Toolkit - Information and Communicaton Technology: Introduction
This toolkit is divided into 5 skills areas, the details of which are set out in this Introduction. The documents covering each skills area will take the following form:
- Introduction to what is required
- Type of questions candidates may be required to answer in the test
- Guidance (with instruction) on skills required for each skills area (using Microsoft Office 2000).
- Examples to guide candidates
- Practise Exercises to test skills learnt
It is assumed that tutors have some knowledge of Office 2000, although some basic guidance has been included, with images to aid understanding.
For those not familiar with the Key Skills guidelines from the QCA (Quality Curriculum and Assessment Authority), the following pages provide a summary of its content. Teachers and Tutors can refer to this or link directly to the QCA website.
