Theme Parks
Making A Presentation

With all the information they have collected, Brendan, Penny, Sue and Jim need to think about how they can present their findings to the rest of the class.

Using the Survey Results spreadsheet, the group can create a bar chart of their results.

Have a look at BBC Bitesize for some good graph and chart making tips.

The group also has the final version of the theme park poster that they can print off and display behind them or hand out to the class.

The purpose of this presentation is:

  • To inform, explain or persuade;
  • To share ideas, facts and findings;
  • To explore research and make conclusions;
  • To explain ways of improving this task.
Key Presentation tips

  • Start with an introduction - explain the problem briefly;
  • Divide the presentation workload between the group;
  • Provide visual material for the audience e.g. poster and bar chart of results;
  • Explain each stage of the process;
  • Come to a final conclusion;
  • Discuss how it could have been improved.
