 | Hannah's brief proved to be one big problem solving exercise. She coped very well with this and was able to adapt to her environment.
Hannah found that she did rely on the other three skills to make her working day easier and more effective. |
The Wider Key Skills Working With Others:
In a creative industry, you will inevitably be working with teams of people. It's important that you can work well with others. You will need their help to complete your project. There will be staff who specialise in different areas of the business, so you will need to work with them. It helps to be a good listener. Hannah was able to get some good ideas and advice from those around her. Problem Solving:
Good problem solving skills are a must, if you're going to cope in this pressurized environment. You need to be able to ask for help from the people around you. You also need to know who to turn to with any niggling logistical problems that might crop up. Improving Own Learning and Performance:
In this job you need to be really well organised. As Hannah found, there's a lot going on and plenty of meetings to go to. Being able to plan ahead is very important. Like Hannah, you need to know how to learn from your mistakes and take advice from others. You'll be learning new skills all the time.
