The number of clients that a health club can attract will be determined largely by the location of the club. A reduced journey time will stir up the interest of a larger client base and only then will the facilities within the health club and the price become factors. A large number of clients, afforded by a suitable location, will allow the club to charge a reasonable annual subscription and still meet the requirements of lenders, paying back any loans for capital expenditure, whilst leaving enough income to maintain a good safety record through adequate maintenance and professional staffing levels. These staffing levels will ensure that more nervous clients feel safe within the gymnasium.
