With a capacity for over 2000 people and located just minutes from Maidstone town centre, it's a wonder word hasn't got out sooner!

Boasting a huge lineup, the Big Weekend 'Aftershow' will involve the finest acts in dance music playing everything from house to techno, electronica to breakbeat.

The line up:

Pete Tong: Born and bred in Kent, Pete regularly appears in the county and became one of the UK's most loved dance DJs.

Laurent Garnier

Laurent Garnier: Known as the King of the Warehouse Party, Laurent comes to Kent for the first time.

Simian Mobile Disco (DJ set): They are the only act to have ever mixed cover CDs for NME and Mixmag.

Annie Mac: Annie's sound encompasses everything from drum and bass to techno, house and hip hop..

Danny Rampling

Nic Fanciulli: ClubClass resident, Nic will be doing his first club show in Kent this year following an extensive world tour. He'll be joined by fellow resident Sam Ball.

Danny Rampling: Coming out of retirement to play hist first clubclass gig in 7 years, Danny will be celebrating 20 years of Acid House by bringing out all the classics.

TRAVEL DETAILS:
Maidstone TV studios is located just 1 mile from Maidstone town centre. Maidstone TV studios offers easy access to both the A249 and M20 both of which are less than a mile away from site. The local train stations are Maidstone East, Maidstone West and Bearsted which are easily accessed via London Victoria, Waterloo and Charing Cross.

ROAD:
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO ON-SITE PARKING AVAILABLE AT MAIDSTONE TV STUDIOS. PLEASE USE TESCO GROVE GREEN.
If you are travelling by road, there is ample parking available at the nearby Tesco who are generously opening their car park for this event. The address for Tescos is Tesco Groove Green, Weavering, Maidstone, ME14 5TQ.

RAIL:
There are taxi ranks at Bearsted and Maidstone East, which can be reached via London Victoria and Ashford International. Trains run from London Victoria, Waterloo and Charing Cross and Ashford International to Bearsted and Maidstone East roughly every half hour.
