The CSV Action Desk asks you to knit tiny clothes for them. Baby JackJack was born on the 7th December 2007 and was 12 weeks premature. He weighed just three pounds and three ounces. One in 14 babies are born prematurely. BBC Radio Kent CSV Action Desk is asking you to chase away those winter blues and get your knitting needles out! What better way to get rid of that dreary feeling than knitting for a good cause? One in 14 babies are born prematurely in the UK, and few parents are prepared for these precious little arrivals. Indeed, clothes for such tiny babies are very hard to come by. ![]() So we want you to become Kentish knitting fanatics and make some shawls, blankets and even teddies to keep their cute little bods cosy. Whether you are a novice or an experienced knitting nit, there is a pattern for you and your contribution will be very welcome.
