We’re looking for match reports and other stories from a junior football team local to you. How much do I need to write? You don’t have to write a lot – we reckon 200-300 words is the right amount. Write your story as an email, or use the form on the website that covers your area. You can find all the sites listed on our front page. What sort of things do I need to write? Write about what happened during the match. You don’t need to be impartial, but be fair: it’s OK to say your team was the better of the two; it’s not OK to accuse the referee of cheating. For child protection reasons, we prefer to only use first names of children in match reports, so please remember that. Can I send photos in as well? You can submit photos of the teams providing you’ve got signed permission from the parents/carers of all the young people you are taking photos of. Before you start taking photos, please introduce yourself to the match and team officials so that they know what you are doing and why. You can e-mail your pictures to the email address listed on the site. |
