We all need Peace

We all need Peace
We all need love
We all need to be understood
We all need each other
How can we make things better?
How can we help each other?
How can we show we care?
How can we just by being there?
Why do we not all hug?
Why do we not let go?
Why do we feel despair?
Why do we cause we fear?
What do we fear that holds us back?
What do we retreat from?
What do we have inside to stop us?
What do we need we need to let go
So we fear those who are different
So we fear those who have more
So we fear those who show feelings
So we fear as we want but don’t share love
When will we learn not to be shallow?
When will we learn to give and take?
When will we learn not to live in fear?
When will we learn when we lose fear?
At some point we must let go
At some point we’ll learn true love
At some point it will all come clear
At some point we will find peace
The world is a mixed up place
The world is full of turmoil
The world is a mystery
The world is what we make it
Some of us love living
Some of us hate life
Some of us give up hope
Some of us fight to make it right
There are those who are leaders
There are those who just follow
There are those who do nothing
There are those who make a difference
At times we see what isn’t
At times we get it wrong
At times we judge others
At times we throw the first stone
How many of us are gifted?
How many of us have talent?
How many of us don’t use either?
How many of us are guilty of that?
Tomorrow we should start afresh
Tomorrow we should see the good
Tomorrow we should discard evil
Tomorrow we should but will we
If for the rest of our lives we try
If for the rest of our lives we give
If for the rest of our lived we love
If for the rest of our lives we win
It will be because we’ve seen the light
It will be because we’ve followed our path
It will be because we’ve lost our fears
It will be because we’ve found inner peace
Should we have a talent?
Should we have a gift?
Should we share and give?
Should we? yes, we should.
