Secret Lover

My secret lover comes to me
When times to bleak for me to see
He holds my hand with fingers strong
And lingers with me all night long

This secret love of mine
From out of rain clouds he does shine
With whispered words that comfort me
He shows me all that I can be

My secret lover has no name
And with his love I know no shame
He comes to pacify and hold
And lead me to that clearer road.
