Embracing

She moved with liquid grace
Her contours his to trace
With melting fluidity
And breathless serendipity
Exaldting in this timeless art
With brief hesitance at passions start
To rise in exhilarated embrace
Two hears beating in a sublime chase
Of two, yet one and two again
Rapturous intensity, abandonment in vain
With slender arms that so enclose
The core of ancient wisdom inside her knows
This fire of amorous love
Exultant pleasure from above
A picture of peace and contentment
This memory of time spent.
