Dreaming by Emma Mary Gascoyne I felt your lips on mine A gentle brush so fine And so restless in my sleep I sought to savour and to keep I felt your fingers touch my face As if the contours you would trace And so in somnambulistic trance My body swayed as if to dance I felt your breath - a freshened breeze Like fingertips that gently tease And stretching out I sought to find A gentle love held in my mind. submitted: 09/10/03
