Miss Haversham A. M. Bellows Where there is love, let me draw it away Poison it, draw in onward me to stay Within my spiders web, where I ensnare All men whom I can draw to my decaying lair A fisher of men, and appearance holy seems But behind the façade, a grimmer visage gleams To enjoy, and play with people just as toys For after all, what are men but boys? Who can get away? None unscathed from me. And still I can draw them back, you see, The words of heartfelt love comes easily to say But in reality, I give nothing but dismay.
