We have thousands of photos of the 2007 Jersey Marathon from the start, the fun run, the finish and all the checkpoints. See if you can find yourself...

We had cameras all around the island at every checkpoint along the 2007 Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon route.

We had cameras at the start of the main and relay races, at the start and finish of the 3k fun run and we've captured almost (sorry to the ones we missed) every athletes as they cross the finish line.

We've been working flat out since Sunday lunchtime getting these photos resized, touched up and put into galleries on this site.

Here are the ones we've done so far - over the next few days look out for the rest of the finish line galleries (full marathon and relay are separate), photos of each checkpoint and a selection of special photo stories.

In this set of galleries you can see photos of the full marathon and relay runners as the horn sounds for the start of the race.

This set of photos will let you relive the moment the 3k fun run started and the moment the runners returned for a triumphant finish.

I think the coverage is brilliant. With regards the comment from "a viewer with a point" For most people completing a marathon is a life long ambition which should be recorded, and as for the success of the event, I would actually say its is the volunteers/organizers and the spectators that equally make it a success.

A viewer with a point to make....
Your site has endless pictures of marathon runners however; there were only 314 marathon runners but there were 200 relay teams which equates to 1000 runners. I applaude the people that ran the whole marathon however; without the 100 people making up the realy race, the event would not be the success it is.Surely, your site should dedicate more space to relay teams as these runners are the backbone to the Jersey Marathon.
