Jersey Live

The Merge

Band Exposure

As well as performing on a major stage with a selection of some of the hottest bands of the moment the Jersey bands will get to play to some top agents and Glasto bookers.

The first Jersey Live music festival is set to be huge with a top line-up of UK and local bands, as well as a dance arena bringing together a mix of well known UK and favourite Jersey DJ's.

The theme of the festival is community spirit which is reflected brilliantly by the number of local bands getting involved.

As well as performing on a major stage with a selection of some of the hottest bands of the moment the Jersey bands will get to play to some top agents including Russel Ward (The Thrills, The Strokes), as well as the two people responsible for booking acts for Glastonbury.

The two programmers including Martin Elborn are responsible for booking acts for the Pyramid Stage, Other Stage, New Tent, Dance Tent and the Jazz Stage.

Festival Organiser Warren Le Suer has urged the bands to play there hearts out: "Great news for the Jersey Bands... Better play your hearts out. Don't forget, a lot of agents are coming too, to see what all the fuss is about!"

Tickets

Tickets are now available from Seedee Jons, White Label & HMV, they are £25 for over 13s with under 13s getting in free.

Have Your Say

dave
will there be any rock bands next year? if there is another festival

Ryan (Host)
The local bands where all chosen by the company that is puting on the event +Positiv.

Some of the bands where chosen based on recomendations from poeple using the Positiv website, others based on word of mouth.

If you play in a band get in touch with me by e-mailing [email protected] or call 01534 837228 and we can have a chat about profiling your band on the BBC Jersey Island Unsigned section.
