Wanderers went on to be the first club in the Channel Islands to get both Development and Community Club status. The club entertained the England World Cup winning squad at their 100 year celebration dinner in 1995. The team used to play at the old Westmount Ground before the 2nd World War. Jersey Wanderers have three mens teams in the Combination. First team: Division One Reserves: Division One Res C team: Division C 2005/6: The first team finished in 8th place and two points away from safety, meaning they will be spending next season in the Second Division. Wanderers Reserves on the other hand managed to escape the drop this season by finishing 1 point above the relegation zone. The clubs C team finished 4th in the league mirroring their last season’s position. 2004/5: This time round there were relegation fears, but in the end, the first team finished three points clear of the drop zone in 7th place. The reserves had a much better season than last, finishing in third. The C team dropped right back after their championship-winning years, ending up in fourth.
2003/4: No relegation worries this term for the first team, as they finished in a very good third place. The reserves though just escpated relegation by a point, after winning their last match of the season. The C team easily retained the title, nine points clear of their nearest rivals. 2002/3: The first team finished just two points above the relegation zone in eighth place. The reserves also finished eighth, but the C team won the title by a massive ten points. Wanderers also have a ladies team that play in the Jersey Football Combination Ladies League. 2005/6: Another fifth place finish for the ladies. 2004/5: Once again, it was fifth position for the ladies. 2003/4: The ladies finished one place below the previous season, in fifth. 2002/3: The ladies ended up in third place, but well behind the top two.
