Please tell us about yourself.

I am 28 and I teach at Kingswood High School, Bransholme, Hull.

I teach art. I'm half Chinese and proud of it.

What's your story about?

It's about my Mum. How her journey through life has been, especially the early days, when she lived in China and Hong Kong.

It's a mixture of fact, tribute and comical tales. It's positive and cheerful.

Why did you choose to tell this particular story?

I wanted to create an adaptation of my Mum's story because she has struggled against poverty, adversity and tragic circumstances - and never, ever complains about them.

She's an inspiration to me and I wanted to do this as a tribute to her.

It's been brilliant. I am happy with my story and have enjoyed being involved so much. Thank you!
