The Other Hand by Linda Martin. Please tell us about yourself.
I am forty-three, and I work at the huge aquarium and sea-life centre known as "The Deep" in Hull.
I studied art, and I was delighted to take part in this very creative project.
What's your story about?
Being born with six fingers on each hand and how it affected my childhood. Coping with being different as a child, deformity and people's reactions to it.
How our culture deals with deformity and how medical experiences are imprinted on our memories.
Why did you choose to tell this particular story?
I was fascinated by how I still feel emotional about what might appear to be such a little thing. The course was superb. Play film
