I am a self-employed proprietor of an after-school club, a childcare facility and a kiddies' fun sports club.
I'm responsible for a range of policies including equal opportunities, race relations, anti-discriminatory practices and disability procedures.
I am governed by OFSTED and care for almost 100 children aged from three to 14-years-old. What's your story about?
A young girl in early school days who had a love for play-acting and dolls.
Only to be hurt by the ones whom I trusted, leaving effects right through school days until leaving.
Why did you choose to tell this particular story?
From leaving school in 1984 to attending adult education for NVQ's, policies and procedures have changed vastly.
In November 2002, acts regarding race relations and disability were changed yet again, so that no child is ever excluded - no matter what the circumstances are.
