- "The film and its sound was very emotional and had a real feeling of sadness and loss.
I hope Lyz will find a new place where she can settle, and be able to pass happy memories of her old place onto her children and grandchildren.
God Bless."
- Marjorie Fullard, Ella street, Hull.
One of the most poignant piece of truth to have been screened. It fell as a short programme, it deserves to be nominated for an award. It is very well written and illustrated and reflects the feeling of local people, as your pleasant East Riding is committed to shrink into oblivion. I am proud to know Lyz and so unaware she could write as well as she has. My congratulations to her and the team. My heart goes out to you. God bless.
