More about this story

Stop this madness now! By Roz Carr.

Please tell us about yourself

I am a busy receptionist!

What's your story about?

The events of 11 September 2001 and how they affected myself and my grandchildren, who expressed secret fears.

It is about the aftermath, the threat of war in Iraq, and an appeal for world peace.

Why did you choose to tell this particular story?

My two Hull-born cousins were lost in the World Trade Centre on 11 September 2001.

The children still remember regular visits by their late Uncle Michael and Auntie Christine.

Before being trapped in the towers, Christine was a nurse to the Inuit people.
