In his younger years, 'Howie' spent seven years working as a motor insurance underwriter. Unable to contain his excitement at the end of a telephone it wasn't long before a twist of fate thrust him behind the microphone into the glitzy world of radio. (editor's note: presenter obviously exhibits dillusions of grandeur about the world of radio). Unexpectedly, Howard found himself deputising for a late show presenter who’d had a nasty accident with a tube of muscle rub and was unable to do his programme. We'll save the story of how 'deep heat' took on a new meaning, for another time. Suffice to say a long-lasting radio career was born and Howard's been a familiar voice in certain Yorkshire parts for some years now having presented every shift on radio. During his illustrious career, he's cleaned toilets, the boss's car and even resurfaced a car-park and Howard's new show will give him the chance to show-off all of those finely honed skills and a few others that might just surprise you. |
